Here's another necklace I made! The grasshopper's diameter is about 4cm, I'm planning to do the next one a bit bigger.

:iconeeeeeplz:OMG IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!
This certainly was worth waiting for
Love the details on the wings, and the color and his antennas! Even if he scares me a little I really love it, you're so so good at this:cuddle:
I like the other two as well - but this is just:iconkissingplz::clap:

:blushes: oh my, thank you so much! :giggle:

I still think that I'm making a bigger version, it seems so tiny to me!

Glad to hear that you like it! ^^
:iconjonepone:
Oh but I do like it a lot, no need to blush young lady:hug:
I admire your creativity, and you're so good with details!
And I like details:giggle: - that's why my drawings and plushies take forever to finish...

Oh you're making me embarrassed! :giggle: I've noticed that you're obsessed to details too! Some people just don't understand why I'm so pedantic with my works. It's nice to know that there excists same kind of people as me! :D :glomp:
:iconjonepone:
haha we're two of a kind when it comes to details!!
I understand why you're pedantic  and that's why I really like your work - no sloppy work or shortcuts :D
It takes time and effort but the result is worth it!

I can be very critical on my own works, that's why I try to pay lots of attention to make them look good! For example, my former schoolmate couldn't understand why I was using straightedge and "difficult" calculations to make my works look cymmetrical etc. :D No shortcuts for me!

I just tried one varnish I have, and it didn't work any well :( Luckily I didn't use it straight to these works! :D I have to go and buy some sprayable varnish tomorrow and try that one, maybe then the colors won't spread all over...
:iconjonepone:
:noes:bad varnish is no good!!
Hope you'll find something that will work properly:lol:

We are so alike you and me:laughing:
I'm my own worst critic! I keep seeing things in my drawings or crafts that I'm sure everyone else will notice and comment on :p...but when they don't see that the symmetry or details are slightly off but really like my work, it surprises me...
And I'm not even selling my stuff! I'm just doing this to enjoy myself and should stop being so critical of my own work:shakefish:

I know exactly what you mean! I've done some paintings of houses, and that's not my cup of tea, and I'm always sure that it really shows, but the customers have been so pleased with the paintings... I always see that they're not symmetrical etc. but maybe others don't see it then? :D

Oh I've been so lazy lately... Haven't done any commissions, or bought the varnish, or anything... :P Have to start this week industriously! :D
:iconjonepone:
I think we see it in our own work but not in other's...
It's because of our detailobsession I guess

I've been lazy too...Mr.Plushie is still without clothes, and there's not been too much drawing either. Apart from my latest effort to learn how to use the tablet:shakefist:
I'll go back to paper& pencil for now...more control that way haha

Good luck with your comissions
